
Victoria Jesswein has served as Archivist at United Lutheran Seminary since 2021. Previously, they worked as a Reference Librarian at Sam Houston State University. They earned an M.A. in Church History and Lutheran Studies from United Lutheran Seminary in 2026 and holds a master’s degree in Archives and Records Management from the University of Liverpool and a B.A. in German Language, Linguistics, and German, Scandinavian, and Dutch Studies from the University of Texas. Victoria's research interests include the integration of archival materials into the classroom, German-language use in the United States, and the recovery of women’s histories through archival collections.
Victoria is active in the Society for German-American Studies, the Southeastern Pennsylvania Theological Library Association, the Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference, and the Lutheran Historical Conference. She also serves as Historian/Archivist of the Lutheran Historical Society of the Mid-Atlantic.
Victoria is also the Food Pantry Coordinator on the Gettysburg campus.
