For the Church, for the World

ULS provides a vital ministry for the sake of the church and the world – we witness to and participate in the work of God in the world through spiritual leadership, public advocacy, impactful worship, and care of neighbor. We can provide this important theological education only through generous and faithful partners, like you, who support our mission through gifts and prayers.

United Lutheran Seminary is committed to offering students unprecedented levels of financial aid to make it possible for gifted leaders to follow their calling and reduce the debt levels graduates bring with them into ministry. Your generosity helps us meet that mission.

We thank you for your generosity in partnering with us in our mission of building  and sustaining an affirming and diverse learning community of faithful, well-educated leaders

Jennifer Hope-Tringali - Doctor of Ministry
- As I reflect on my journey through the ULS Doctor of Ministry degree program, I am grateful for the opportunity to have set aside sacred time and space to reflect theologically on my ministry through extensive and continued learning.  A variety of class offerings and experiences, along with distance learning options provided me with a rich palette with which I could develop my studies and ultimately my thesis concentration.   The financial, prayer, and colleague support the seminary community has offered along the way has been essential to this grace-filled journey.

Clifford L. Stanley - Master of Divinity - “Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit.  Rather, in humility value others above yourselves.” Philippians 2:3 The personal pronoun “I” is difficult for me to use when considering serving God and serving others.  What an amazing journey of learning, fellowship, and personal growth while studying and fellowshipping at United Lutheran Seminary.  Expert, compassionate, and dedicated faculty and staff complement each other with a synergy of leadership and commitment that I found to be wholly refreshing and invigorating. The opportunity to study the Bible while planting the seeds for continued learning, even after graduation, is exciting.  My world view has expanded exponentially, and even more humbling is the realization of how much more there is to learn while opening my heart to God’s call for serving others.
