Application process timeline

Begin
Start your application using the appropriate "Apply Now" button below.
At least six months prior to intended start date
Submit
The $50.00 non-refundable deposit is required to submit your application
by May 15th (for the Fall semester) or by October 15th (for the spring semester)
Finish
A completed application must be on file in the Admissions Office. Please read the application overview for your degree program specifics.
by June 1st (for the fall semester) or by November 1st (for the spring semester)
Decide
You will receive an admission decision. Accepted applicants will continue with the financial aid and housing processes (as applicable).
by June 15th (for the fall semester) or by November 15th (for the spring semester)
Commit
Return to the Admissions Office: a signed commitment form.
by June 22nd (for the fall semester) or by November 22nd (for the spring semester)

Urban Theological Institute

Please note: The Christian Ministry certificate program is a combination of classes held on the Philadelphia campus and via Zoom. The Church Leadership program will be held at Salt and Light Church in Southwest Philadelphia in person only.
