Rev. Julie Jackson

The Rev. Julie Jackson is a 2021 graduate of United Lutheran Seminary and is excited to return to the seminary community as the Coordinator of Contextual Formation. She currently serves as pastor of St. Matthew Lutheran Church in Plainfield, Pennsylvania, and has also provided leadership in interim ministry settings. Most recently, Julie completed four years of service on the staff of the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. Synod, where she served on staff as an assistant for Candidacy and Mobility.

Julie and her family relocated from South Florida to Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, a decade ago and have enjoyed making Adams County their home. She looks forward to walking alongside students, congregations, and ministry partners as they discern God's call and help coordinate meaningful and formative experiences for the next leaders in the church.
