Rene worked in the Registrar’s Office at the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia for over 25 years (as Registrar 1999-2017) before retiring. She returned in 2018 as Consultant Registrar on the Philadelphia campus on a temporary and part-time basis.
