United Lutheran Seminary is composed of two physical campuses and one distributed learning community

Located in the historic Mt. Airy neighborhood, the Philadelphia campus is centrally located to Center City, where one can find museums, world class orchestra and many historic institutions, easily accessible by public transportation. A short walk north on Germantown Avenue takes you to beautiful Chestnut Hill, with many restaurants, boutiques and stores.

Located approximately two hours from Philadelphia, Baltimore and Washington D.C., the Gettysburg campus sits in the heart of one of the most historically important towns in the United States. A few minutes away, you will find unique stores, restaurants and historic sites. A visit to Gettysburg National Military Park is highly recommended.

Distributed Learning

The unique Distributed Learning pathway to the MDiv degree enables students to remain where they live and complete course requirements without having to relocate to either physical campus. One-third of required coursework is completed through on-campus, week-long intensives, offered at various times throughout the year. Remaining coursework can be completed on line. Contextual Formation requirements are arranged with that office and can generally be fulfilled near the student’s home location.
