WORSHIP AFTER CORONA: Singing, Speaking and Spaces of Community

What does worship look and sound like on this side of the pandemic? This question is asked by both those who have already returned to “normal” in-person worship and those who continue their adapted practices.  It would be an understatement to say that the pandemic did not profoundly affect our worship and music practices, and some implications are yet to be described.

This summer’s Theological Education with Adults looks at some specific ways worship and music have been influenced by the pandemic.  The week features a series of interactive workshops that attend to both the theology and practice of Lutheran worship, featuring Dr. Kyle Schiefelbein-Guerrero, Gail Ramshaw and Cathy Elkiss.
