Robert T. Flynn

B.A. - Haverford College
M.A.R. - Yale University

Rob served  as the Interim Library Administrator beginning in July 2022, first in a part-time capacity and then in a full-time capacity, and was named Interim Director in May 2023. He has a BA in religion from Haverford College, an MAR in historical theology from Yale Divinity School, a certificate in editing from UC Berkeley Extension, and is working toward an MI with a concentration in library science from Rutgers University. Rob worked in scholarly publishing for over twenty years (Yale University Press, Columbia University Press, and Getty Publications) before transitioning to work in ibraries. Rob hopes to find more ways to engage students – both residential and distance learners -- with the extensive resources available to them in the libraries. He will also assist ULS in its process of assessing and balancing its long-term strategic library needs: writing and research help for students, collection development, and archives management. Rob oversees the library staff on both campuses.
