For Christians in the Holy Land, the “Fifth Gospel” of the physical and cultural landscape informs their exegesis and preaching to the ever-shrinking Christian population.

Join us for a very enlightening Preaching Perspective as we welcome the wisdom and perspective of three ELCJHL Pastors who are Doctor of Ministry students at ULS. The presentation will include:

• A Palestinian perspective on lectionary writings

• Extra-biblical cultural traditions around Holy Week and Easter

• An exposition of various ministry contexts in Amman, Jerusalem, and Beit Jala (near Bethlehem)

• Enhancing our understanding of time and space around the passion and the associated holy sites.
