ULS to Observe Juneteenth National Freedom Day

Governor Wolf signed legislation which designates June 19 as “Juneteenth National Freedom Day” in Pennsylvania. Beginning tomorrow, June 19, 2020, ULS campuses will be closed to honor Juneteenth National Freedom Day. Classes already scheduled to take place the week of June 15, 2020, will be held online as planned. Starting in 2021, campuses will be closed and classes will not be held. Should June 19 fall on a Saturday or Sunday, the day will be observed the prior Friday.
