About the Philadelphia Campus
Located in the historic Mt. Airy neighborhood, students love not only the picturesque campus, but also the wide variety of opportunities that are available right in the neighborhood.
Restaurants of all types (Italian, Mexican, Indian, Soul Food, Pub Fare, vegan) a bar with live Jazz music multiple nights each week, a coffee shop, juice bar, a gym, a grocery store and even a candy store are all within two blocks from campus.
You can also get right into the heart of Philadelphia and beyond using one of the two train stations or public transportation that are blocks from campus.
Mt. Airy is not only a neighborhood packed with restaurants and shops, but it also is ranked as one of the most diverse and racially integrated neighborhoods in the country. Mt. Airy has been applauded for its racial harmony and balance in both Oprah Winfrey’s Omagazine and in the U.S. News and World Report.
A nearby landmark favorite place is Fairmount Park featuring 9200 acres of trails, woodlands and wetlands, one of the largest urban green spaces in the country. There you can hike, bike, fish, or picnic. The park is woven throughout the entire city of Philadelphia, and there are numerous access points only a short walk from campus.
